Role Title: On-Site Program Coordinator
Primary Location: Bangkok Local (with travel/coverage in Hong Kong & Singapore)
Duration: January 1 – 17, 2026 (Freelance / Project-Based)
Absolute Internship is seeking a charismatic, resourceful, and highly responsible On-Site Program Coordinator to lead an upcoming multi-city custom university program. You will serve as the face of Absolute Internship on the ground, serving as the primary local guide, logistics coordinator, and emergency support contact across three key Asian capitals: Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok.
This unique multi-city contract role requires a Bangkok local with strong regional familiarity in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will blend exceptional customer service and sharp logistical coordination to ensure the itinerary runs seamlessly, keeping our visiting university students and faculty safe, informed, and engaged.
On-Site Group Leadership: Welcome students and faculty upon arrival. Act as the primary face-to-face contact, lead group activities, and serve as the local guide in Singapore and Bangkok.
Logistics & Transit Management: Oversee group transportation/shuttles, coordinate hotel check-ins, manage activity timings, and ensure smooth execution of scheduled itineraries.
Local Booking & Cultural Support: Leverage insider regional knowledge to assist remote Custom Programs Operations Coordinators with local meal arrangements, activity bookings, and cultural guidance.
24/7 Health, Safety & Emergency Support: Act as the first line of response for student health or emergencies. Provide 24/7 on-call support during the Hong Kong leg and maintain on-call availability throughout the entire trip.
Group Communication: Manage a local WhatsApp group chat to distribute daily reminders, safety updates, schedule changes, and local recommendations.
Location & Mobility: Must be based locally in Bangkok, Thailand, with full availability to travel to Hong Kong and Singapore from Jan 1 - 17, 2026.
Regional Knowledge: Extensive local expertise in Bangkok, paired with strong knowledge and familiarity with Singapore and Hong Kong logistics, culture, and transit.
Language Skills: Fluent in English (both spoken and written) and native/fluent in Thai. Knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
Experience: Prior experience in tour guiding, event coordination, university student affairs, youth group leadership, or hospitality.
Key Traits: Charismatic, calm under pressure, adaptable, and highly dependable with strong emergency management capabilities.
Flights & Flights Management: All inter-city program flights (Hong Kong / Singapore / Bangkok) fully covered.
